Nazarenko, Nikolai

Nikolai Nazarenko was born in Semenovka, Poltava region, Ukraine.  He studied at the Minsk Art College from 1951 1954.  From 1956 1961 he continued to study at the Minsk Theatre Art Institute.  Later he taught at the Minsk Teacher Training Institute.  Since 1961 he has taken part in many art exhibitions.  In 1967 he became a member of the Russian Union of Artists of the USSR.  He is known for his portraits, landscapes and still life.  His works are in the permanent collection in the National Art Museum of Belarus, Regional Art Museum in Minsk as well as several other prominent museums.
